Scott has been the Chairman of JumpTV since January 2002 and the CEO since May 2005.

Before joining JumpTV:
Scott was the former Chairman, President and CEO of Yorkton Securities, Canada's largest technology and media investment bank from 1995 to 2001 (2000 revenues of $244 million and profit of $56 million).

Today, Scott is the Director of Lionsgate Entertainment (NYSE:LGF) (mkt cap $1 billion) and chair of its audit committee. He is also a Director of Rand A Technology (TSX:RND) and Chairman of Automated Benefits (TSXV:AUT).

Scott has served the investment industry as both the Vice-Chairman of the Toronto Stock Exchange and the Chairman of the Toronto Venture Exchange.

Kaleil was the President & Managing Partner of Recognition Group, a New York-based merchant banking firm focusing on emerging growth companies.

Kaleil previously acted as Chairman of KPE, Inc., a leading digital media firm counting Sony Entertainment, Carnival Cruises and other blue-chip firms as clients.

Kaleil has also spent significant time in the government-focused software field, having been Chairman and CEO of transaction processing software company govWorks.

Kaleil was recently named one of the Top 100 Most Influential Hispanics by Hispanic Magazine.

Kaleil graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University.

As the President of JumpTV, Alex is responsible for building a world class technology and product marketing organization with the goal of defining a new web-based media category and establishing JumpTV as the leader.

Before joining JumpTV:
Alex was the Vice President of Product Marketing for AOL's Audience business where Alex and his team were responsible for re-launching the AOL Portal and delivering an entire suite of web-based applications including: AOL's Video Player, Video Portal, Streaming Video advertising platform and Video Search products.

Prior to that, Alex was General Manager of AOLTV, where he established strategic relationships with DirecTV, TiVo, OpenTV and Philips Electronics.

Prior to joining AOL, Alex spent ten years in the software industry participating in three successful startup opportunities.

Alex has an MBA from the Albers School of Business at Seattle University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado.

What he does now:
As the CFO of JumpTV, Kriss enjoys contributing to the success of the JumpTV team on multiple levels. He especially enjoys the numbers, saving money and helping the finance team develop and grow professionally, as the future leaders of JumpTV.

Before joining JumpTV:
Kriss is a certified public accountant (CPA) with 25 years of financial experience which he gained while being based in Washington for three years, New York for ten years and in Europe for approximately nine years. Kriss moved to Toronto in 2001. Kriss was the CFO for Rand A Technology Corporation (TSX:RND) (annual revenue $125 million CAD).

Willem Galle

Before joining JumpTV:
Willem brings to JumpTV 20 years of information technology experience. Prior to JumpTV, Willem acted as Vice Chairman and COO of Descartes Systems Group (NASDAQ:DSGX, TSX:DSG), a leading supply chain technology company headquartered in Waterloo, Canada.

As well, Willem was the President and CEO of software engineering firm Calixon, successfully pioneering the first global Internet based shipment tracking web that became an information backbone for companies such as Ericsson and DHL.



Mark David

Before joining JumpTV:
Mark has 18 years of commercial television experience, holding executive sales and marketing positions for broadcasters in both New Zealand and the UK.

Mark spent time as the National Sales Manager for Television New Zealand (TVNZ) (annual sales + $100 million USD) and was instrumental in establishing TVNZ's commercial Internet division.

Mark facilitated the launch of MTV in New Zealand, responsible for MTV Europe, C&E European distribution and ad sales.

In addition Mark was responsible for Zone Vision's sales and marketing, growing global sales from $6 million USD to $60 million USD from 2000 to 2005, establishing 19 offices globally.

What he does now:
As the Vice President of Product Marketing for JumpTV, Tom defines product specifications.

Before joining JumpTV:
Tom was the Director of Windsor Mountain International, a student travel agency and summer camp where he sent thousands of children around the world for language learning, wilderness adventure, community service and other cross-cultural adventures.

Prior to that Tom was the co-founder and CTO of govWorks, Inc., a software startup serving municipal and state governments with online transaction processing software.

Jeremy Hope

Jeremy is responsible for the 7 x 24 global IT Networks, Operations and Infrastructure.

Before joining JumpTV:
Jeremy has had a diverse IT Operational background, most recently as Director of Technology Operations for an arm of Ontario Government where he managed one of the largest infrastructures in Ontario including a wide area network of over 9000 sites.

Jeremy spent two years in the Internet arena, as Senior Director of IT Operations with DoubleClick Email Canada, supporting their Global Email ASP.

Prior to that, Jeremy was Director of Technology Operations at ING Canada, in the financial services industry for seven years. Jeremy spent eight years in the manufacturing industry with a subsidiary of George Weston Limited.

Before joining JumpTV:
Jeff acted as the Investment Manager at Paterson Partners, a leading Toronto-based venture capital firm specializing in technology
and media.

In addition, he was a consultant at Scient Corporation, a New York-based e-Business strategy consultancy founded by Benchmark Capital, Sequoia Capital and Stanford University.

Prior to JumpTV, Jeff was also a Corporate Development Analyst with the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Jeff completed his MBA at York University in Toronto, Canada and is a graduate of the European Venture Capital Association.

 

Ted Seube

What he does now:
As the Vice President of Corporate Development at JumpTV, Ted is responsible for sourcing and executing institutional distribution partnerships and merger and acquisition opportunities. He also manages the execution of JumpTV's capital markets processes.

Before joining JumpTV:
Ted has ten years of experience in financial services with a sole focus on the media and communications industries. Most recently Ted was Director of Planning & Analysis at Corus Entertainment Inc.'s radio division in Toronto, the largest radio company in Canada.

Prior to that, Ted spent two years in media-focused private equity investing and mergers and acquisitions at Veronis, Suhler and Associates in New York, and 5 years at BT Alex. Brown International in media-focused investment banking and equity research in New York, Sydney and London.

Ted earned his MBA at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto in 2004 and a BA in economics from Princeton University in 1994.

Dan O’Hara

What he does now:
As the Technology Fellow at JumpTV, Dan oversees all technology related initiatives, including research and special projects.

Before joining JumpTV:
Prior to JumpTV, Dan owned and ran a small computer consulting firm in Ottawa, Canada.

Dan worked for eight years for SHL Systemhouse as a Senior Technical Architect, working primarily in the telecom industry.

Dan also played a key role making Computer Innovations the largest Canadian computer retailer at the time, from 1978 to 1985.

Sila Celik

What she does now:
Sila runs the European region and is therefore responsible for subscriber and content acquisition in more than 30 countries.

Before joining JumpTV:
Sila has broad expertise in the establishment of new business for the Turkish and German television markets.

Prior to JumpTV, Sila spent seven years with RTL Disney in Germany in several positions including: Director of Subscriber Services and Member of the Cross Media Board for Strategic Properties. Sila established RTL Disney's subscriber-based educational online platforms targeting families with children. In this role, Sila was responsible for the growth of the subscriber base to over 100,000 annually billed subscribers breaking even in year one after launch.

Sila has a degree in banking and finance from the University of Cologne in Germany.

As the Regional Director for Africa at JumpTV, Rosario is responsible for overall business development for Sub Saharan Africa at JumpTV, including content acquisition, subscriber satisfaction and overall strategic execution for the region.

Before joining JumpTV:
Prior to JumpTV, Rosario acted as an investment banker and proprietary investment professional with Recognition Group (since 2002), where he has led transactions in the retail, media, technology services and software fields.

Prior to that, Rosario was employed as an operations and management consultant in the restaurant and basic business services industries and continues to serve as a Director of Servador, Logimetrics, WRI, LLC and Litigation Management Group.

Kevin was a partner with Courthauld Investments, an early stage venture capital firm specializing in the new media sector. Prior to that, he was a partner with Cambridge Technology Partners, a leading management and technology consultancy after consulting with Monitor Company.  Kevin is an alumnus of Griffith College, Australia and INSEAD, France.

Amir founded and served as Director of Fitual, a professional residential fitness service firm in addition to founding and serving as Executive Director of InnoVending, a music distribution outlet for commercial theatres.

Prior to joining JumpTV in 2005, Diego served as a diplomat for the Colombian Government in New York, USA.

Diego holds a law degree from Universidad Javeriana in Bogota and a Masters degree in public administration from SIPA, Columbia University.

He is also an expert in the Latin-American telecommunications field and acts as senior advisor for INRAVISION, Institute of Radio and Television of Colombia.

As General Manager of Marketing for JumpTV, Rodger is responsible for subscriber acquisition and online marketing.

Before joining JumpTV:
Rodger was Sales Vice President for Fisher Investments, one of the largest money managers in the United States built through online and offline direct marketing.

Prior to that, Rodger was involved in several private companies as a founder and senior executive responsible for sales and marketing in the film, finance and e-commerce arenas.

Rodger received his B.S. from Pace University in New York and is currently pursuing his M.B.A. at New York University's Stern School of Business.

Brad, an early adapter of multimedia technology, owned and ran a Toronto ad agency for over 15 years. In addition, Brad was a partner in eMedia, a 3d visualization company. Brad has extensive experience in software design and development, interaction design, graphic design, communications and marketing.

Brigitte served as a first level Network Support Engineer for MSNBC. 

Prior to that, Brigitte worked at Atlantic Records in the new media and marketing department, in which led to various opportunities within the music industry working with and for many multi platinum artists.

What she does now:
Karina is responsible for marketing and channel management in her regions. She focuses on creating, through all media outlets, international community networks that enhance the JumpTV experience.

Before joining JumpTV:
Karina owned and ran an Asian fusion restaurant and convention center in the Dominican Republic, prior to coming to New York for her MBA in International Business and Marketing.

Karina worked in the United Nations for several years and was part of the marketing and business development team at Allegro Resorts, a multi-national company.
