Super Star singing contest
Super
Star singing contest is based on the successful British show
‘Pop Idol’. Super Star has a huge success and
unites the Arab community by democratically choosing the next singing
sensation. The show features participants from multiple countries and
the auditions are held worldwide: from Lebanon and Tunisia to France
and Canada. Each final is judged by several judges among whom there
were Elias Rahbani, Abdullah Al Kououd & Tonia Moreeb. Special
musical guests are invited each time to the shows to offer their
support and critiques.
The 1st Super Star season was presented in 2003. Super Star 2 was held
in 2004 and Super Star 3 was the longest competition ever with
auditions beginning on November, 2004 with the program culminating on
February, 2006. Super Star 4 is coming soon on Future TV!

Karazon from Jordan won the first season of Super Star. Ayman
El Aatar
from Libya won the title of Super Star 2. Ibrahim El
Hakami from Saudi
Arabia became the 3rd Super Star.
