About the Hosts

Jose Carlos Malato, born on the 7th of March, 1964 in Monforte, is a Portuguese TV presenter, radio broadcaster, copywriter and college teacher.

Merche Romero is a model, actress and TV host. She is of Spanish descent but she was born in Andorra. She has Spanish nationality although she currently lives and works in Portugal. She gained notoriety for being the alleged girlfriend of Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo, which made her the target of several Cristiano fans who started Anti-Merche sites. Merche is the co-host of the daytime talk-show Portugal no Coracao. She also hosts a model search show, in which two Portuguese girls will receive modeling contracts. In addition, she is the celebrity spokesperson for a fashion brand in Portugal. Merche practices yoga. She adores Porsche, Hemingway, Nicholas Cage and Barcelona.
