About Super Kids rounds
60 seconds (team game)
is a team "word-guessing" game. 4 teams
of 10 people participate in this round, with four different categories
to choose from. Each team will see ten words that are related to their
chosen category on the screen. They will be given 60
seconds to try to erase these ten words based on the
descriptions they hear. The words they were able to erase become their
team points!
Fill the board (team game)
- all teams that were in 60 seconds, move
up to this round again. Of 4 teams, 2 teams come out and compete
against each other. In this round, the two teams need to write down as
many words as possible that starts with the given alphabet letter
during 60 seconds. Each team gets a
blackboard to write on, but only two members from each team are allowed
to write on it. The other eight members will help them come up with as
many words as possible in that short amount of time. The number of
words each team has written down become their team points, which are
accumulated with the points from the first round.
In or Out (individual game)
- From this corner on, every person is for themselves. Twenty
contestants from the two teams that survived the first two rounds,
randomly draw a number from 1~20. Two players receive a question
one-on-one and whoever gets the answer right moves on to
the second elimination of this round. The same routine is repeated in
the second elimination until five survivors are left, who will move on
to Brain Power. The questions are based
on specific topics or books, which are notified in advance.
Brain Power (individual game)
is a round of trivia, covering various topics from history, literature
to music and sports. The final five competing contestants will be given
nine categories which are divided into three columns, ostensibly graded
by difficulty. All contestants start with 100 points. The first one to
give the correct answer wins the value point of the question, and also
earns the right to select the next category. Whoever ends up with the
highest points advances to the final round. But there's a catch! In
order to give all five contestants a fair shot at winning, they are all
given a "Double Chance" card, which can
be used to their advantage. So you have to be strategic and bold to
become the final one advancing to the Super Round.
Super Round (individual game)
- The Final Round! The Final
Qualifier! In this round, the final challenger has to
solve two questions out of three correctly, to be declared "Superkid!"
It is a very tough round, with a variety of questions testing knowledge
and wisdom presented which the challenger has to figure out by only
hearing four clues that lead to the answer. So stay tuned to the very
end, to see if a "Superkid" emerges every
week or not!
