The New X Generation 源來新一代
The New X Generation 源來新一代 on TVBS-E is a documentary series for the European Chinese who were either born or educated in Europe. With the Chinese demographic in Europe starting to mature, the 3rd and 4th generations appeare. How equipped are the young parents in instilling Chinese culture and guiding their children in understanding their identity? There is a need for our children to have role models in their daily lives. Better visibility of the Chinese in social participation will help to create a cohesive society for our next generation. And it would be great if we could attain social integration in the mainstream society and preservation of our cultural heritage. There has been a lot of exposure about China's rapidly growing economy and the effects it has on the rest of the world. What does this mean for the European Chinese? How are we to relate to this distant "motherland"? In The New X Generation 源來新一代 8 main characters talk about their aspirations. Through their experience we hope the programme may inspire and encourage the young European Chinese to make the best of their lives. 無線衛星台分別於2001年及2003年推出本地製作<香港再造>及<再造之後>，追蹤歐洲華 人青年在香港尋夢的心路歷程及發展實況, 深受觀眾歡迎。數年後的今天，無線衛星台帶領大家放眼神州，細訴歐洲華人新一代對身份、語言及文化的種種深情。 在採訪及拍攝的過程中，無線衛星台的攝製隊亦經歷了兩地文化的衝擊，當中趣事連連又令他們感觸良多。本身同樣在英國長 大的節目編導王慧姿表示：「今次的採訪及拍攝過程很有意義，對我本身而言也是尋根的一部份，這是我意想不到的。」 全新系列《源來新一代》，以八位在歐洲土生土長的華人為主線，以第一身的角度帶觀眾了解他們如何發揮在歐洲的所學所思、 以及華人身分優勢，去尋找他們心目中最理想的人生旅程。 Subscribe and watch The New X Generation 源來新一代 on TVBS-E 無線衛星台 online with JumpTV! |
